Set in a post-apocalyptic environment, the game features lots of interesting places modeled to be like real-world locations to explore. It also boasts weapons intended to provide the most realistic experience possible. Each has up to 12 modifiable parts and hundreds of optional components.

Despite the massive armory, the focus of Lost Light isn’t necessarily to run and gun. The game is survival, and that means making it to the evacuation point. If that means avoiding combat and just snagging loot along the way, that’s the way to go. Players can choose to go with a partner or to go it alone. But survival is often easier when you have someone to help you along. <p>Those who survive will be able to stash their loot and begin work on building a base of operations.
